Dr. Alyssa Miceli

Dr. Alyssa Miceli earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating summa cum laude. She then obtained a D.O./M.S. dual degree as part of the Academic Medicine Scholars Program at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she was initiated into the Psi Sigma Alpha Honor Society and received the Academic Excellence Award for Highest Achievement in Pre-clinical Education upon graduation.  She completed her internship at University Hospitals in Cleveland and her residency training in dermatology at Orange Park Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL, where she served as Chief Resident. During her residency, Dr. Miceli was honored with the American Academy of Dermatology Award for Excellence in Patient Care and received several research grants.

Dr. Miceli is certified by the American Board of Dermatology, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and an active member of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and the Connecticut Society of Dermatology. She has authored numerous academic publications and has presented at national medical conferences. Dr. Miceli practices medical, pediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She has special interests in skin cancer prevention and detection with use of dermoscopy, dermatologic surgery, and treating acne in all ages.
